Hi,

 

 

My name is Hendrik. I live in one of the most beautiful parts of the world, the Rocky Mountains of Canada. I am currently studying and have a deep passion for the creative arts, like music, video and graphic design. Today modern technology has given me the opportunity to further my skill set, and allow me to expand my studies in Film and Video. I have a Youtube channel where my work can be seen, along with Soundcloud, and numerous social networks. As an entrepreneur film maker, the world always surprises me when I look through the eye of my camera and that is what I capture for my clients - the element of surprise. I make use of different methods to communicate the message and that surprise element is transferred to the viewer. While I am still experimenting, I also have the confidence that I will make a difference with what I have to offer to my clients.

 

I have been interested in doing Filmography for many years, but back then it was just an idea. When I became 13 I decided that I wanted to give the visual arts a try. I started filming with my iPhone 3G with help from friends, it eventually became a hobby. In order to expand my expertise, I immersed myself in different art styles, such as music and digital art. Music was a very indulging experience, but it wasn’t quite what I was looking for. I started getting creative, combining my skills in visual effects to create audio spectrum generators that took the music I made and turned them into beautiful patterns of light. Overtime as my skills grew, I expanded towards the animation industry. I started with 3D modelling, it’s stressful and time consuming but I pulled through and designed logo’s and advanced audio reactants which intrigued my viewers and family members. Some of my works can be seen in my portfolio.

 

Very soon I will be able to offer a wider spectrum on the creative ladder, from music to art, to video. I look forward to the technology and the excitement that I can create with it. One must always be on top, and I intend to pull through to being one of the best director and editor in the world. Later this year I am formally joining one of the best Film schools in the world, the New Zealand Film Academy and I am excited with what lies ahead. Keep on following me, the best is yet to come!
